Evaluation: Things I'd do Differently

Evaluation:
Things I’d do Differently: Next time for DTM if we made long boards I think we shouldn’t try and do something that probably won’t work. Like the flax stringer idea. We should’ve checked with someone first to see if it could work before we wasted our time doing something and not even using it at all in the end.
And another thing I would change would be more practical work. We spent a lot of time in the computer labs not doing anything when we should’ve been working in the classroom on our project. If we spent more time in the classroom we wouldn’t have needed to come in after school or in our spare time to do it. And we would’ve probably finished sooner.

Other than that, I’d say that DTM was definitely one of the best classes (or maybe even THE best class) that I’ve had all year.

Term 4, Week 5

This is our last lesson in DTM. Last friday i got the rest of the base coat on it so it was completely black, and I finally painted my board on Monday. I couldn't get the cartoonnetwork logo for my artr work because we didn't have enough time. So instead i splatted paint all over my board like a Jackson Pollock artwork and now it looks really cool. We had our double and i painted it and had to wait for it to dry. I came into DTM yesterday after school so i could laquered it so i'll come in tomorrow (Thursday) to put my griptape on it. Today we're just in the computer labs finishing our blogs for the year. I'll do my final evaluation for the year too.

Term 4, Week 4

I reglued my board last week and finally finished sanding it all off. I came to DTM after school to do it so i could prime it but i had to wait for Monday. Anyways, on Monday i primed it and and started doing my final evaluation on the computer. After it dried i did it again to double prime it. When it dried again i tried putting the the base coat on it which was black but apparently it ran out so it didn't paint it all the way. So only one side is black and the other side is just crappy. In the computer labs today we really have to finish off all our blog stuff and probably should try and finish the evaluation otherwise we don't get ANY credits for DTM and we won't get our boards. But on Thursday i'm going to try and finish my board as fast as possible and i'll do some after school thing or something.
